ADMISSION AND LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP

Membership of the association is open to any person regardless of residency, nationality, race, gender, age and language, who shares the ideals and passion of TOZARD. However, a Member is admitted upon the recommendation of one active member of the association.

Becoming a Member 

​

Any member of the executive bureau of TOZARD can be contacted when seeking  to become a member to offer support to: 

​

• poor persons affected by TOZ diseases,

• donate or offer support for furtherance of research activities,

• support services for disease control policy improvement,

• reach out to specific rural communities for the improvement of their livelihoods,

• offer support to intelligent but needy, desperate and  resource-poor backgrounds children laying bridges for poverty alleviation to convert zero children to academic heroes in rural communities,

• support extension of useful scientific knowledge with respect to the one health concept to rural communities,

• empower vulnerable and intelligent children with the zeal to ‘emerge’ by acquiring MSc and Ph.D degrees,

Loss of Membership 

This may occur as a result of the following: Death, Resignation or Exclusion.

In the case of resignation, the resigning member addresses to the secretary of TOZARD a resignation letter at least ten days prior to the general meeting which may accept the resignation. Exclusion occurs when the behaviour of a member is deemed incompatible with the objectives of TOZARD or causes moral harm to the association. However, the excluded member may appeal against this decision to the General Assembly.

FINANCIAL RESOURCES OF TOZARD

TOZARD generates its funds through: 

- The generous contributions of time, money and intellect from its members. 

- Membership (annual registration) fees.
- Annual contributions from its members.
- Donations and legacies of its members and persons who share the passion of TOZARD members. 
- Revenue of assets it would own.
